The House is located in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg. It is residentially zoned near Sandton.
With the Existing House the Architectural Language and Entertainment layout has already been set. The striking features of the house is the use of a Satin Corojem Rose Blend-like Facebrick finish used throughout most of the home. Big opening Glass Sliding Doors and Picture Windows creates an awareness of the lush grown gardens while being on the inside.
Briefed by the client to reconstruct and extend the outside entertainment area with a new decked area above the reconstructed patio area, extend the Scullery, a new Carport, upgrading and converting the Outbuilding into a Cottage. The focus was to blend the new areas and extensions with the look and feel of the existing dwelling. Respecting the Architectural Language of the house.
